What’s SEO got to do with it?

You've heard about SEO. But what the heck is it, and why do we care about it here at BizCBR? You might be thinking this sounds like an awfully dry topic, but I promise you, if you hear me out, it'll be worth it.

What on earth is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. In short, it's the way you set up your website so that Google and other search engines can crawl it and find what they're looking for. And the better your SEO is, the higher you'll be ranked on search engines and the more people will find you. #SEO101

And what does this have to do with BizCBR?

Well, one of the things that contributes to your SEO is backlinks. A backlink is when another website links to your website. Basically, when other websites link to yours, it tells search engines that you're credible. And of course, the more credible you are, the more those search engines are inclined to show your stuff to the public.

Are you picking up what I'm putting down?

When you become a member of BizCBR, not only do you get a listing in our directory - with links back to your website - but you also have the opportunity to write 4 x articles a year, which will be published right here on the BizCBR Blog. Again, with links back to your online home! This is great for your SEO!

Is it worth the membership fee though?

So, these are just a couple of the benefits of a BizCBR membership, but in my opinion, these benefits alone are worth WAY more than the cost of your membership.

As the founder of Pop Your Business and Pop Your Career, I get approached every single week by people wanting me to link to their site or allow them to write an article for me. And these requests come with payment! Because SEO is incredibly valuable if you want your clients to be able to find you on Google.

Sounds like a no brainer, right?

We'd love to have you join us at BizCBR. Head straight across to this page and sign up - you'll then be emailed all the details you need to get started! Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
